Viagra (sildenafil) is a popular medication that is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. Viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis, which helps achieve and maintain an erection. It is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
Viagra is a prescription drug and is a medication that is often prescribed to men who have trouble getting or keeping an erection. Viagra does not cure erectile dysfunction or the condition it is caused by.
Viagra may be used to treat erectile dysfunction in men or a condition that is caused by the inability to get and maintain an erection during sexual activity. For PAH, Viagra is often used to treat the condition of the chest, which is a condition where blood flows to the penis.
The medication Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis, which can help men with PAH achieve and maintain an erection. It is used to treat PAH in the following conditions:

Sildenafil is a type of medication called a selective inhibitor of PDE5. It works by blocking the effects of a chemical called cGMP in your penis. cGMP is a substance that relaxes and widens the blood vessels in your penis, allowing more blood to flow into your penis.
Sildenafil is usually taken as a single dose. However, some people may experience side effects such as:
